Releases Results Two
Representatives Explain
The Alaska Public
Interest Research Group (AkPIRG) released the results of its poll of all
60 Alaska legislators at a news conference on Monday, October 15th. The survey was an attempt to ascertain past involvement with VECO, the former oil field services company whose executives have pleaded guilty to a variety of charges in a legislative corruption probe. Of the legislators who completed the survey, only two representatives - Rep. John Harris and Rep. Bob Lynn - answered yes to meeting in Room 604 with VECO officials. No one answered yes to the VECO poll question. Click here for
