OPERATIONS MANAGER

Camilla Hussein-Scott was born in southern Germany and was raised in Syria, but she has lived in the United States for years – 15 of them on Dena’ina Lands in Eagle River. Camilla graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a BA in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies and an MPA in Public Policy Analysis. She has a background in nonprofit administration and community outreach and spent most of her career in Language Access and DVSA advocacy.

In her role as AKPIRG’s operations manager, Camilla ensures that the behind-the-scenes operations are running smoothly. Camilla enjoys spending time with her family, serving on boards, cooking, knitting, and beading.
