EDITOR, Alaska Energy Transparency Project (AETP)

Brian received his B.A. from Wesleyan University and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. After twenty-five years teaching European and Russian history, he is now focusing on work that helps to strengthen communities. Brian is editor of the Alaska Energy Transparency Project (AETP), which provides news and information to educate and empower the member-owners of Alaska’s electric cooperatives.

He enjoys hiking, biking, and word games. Brian was born and raised in New Jersey on Schaghticoke and Munsee Lenape lands, and now lives with his family in Fairbanks, on the lands of the Lower Tanana Dené people.
