The AKPIRG board has several volunteer board members who all care deeply about our organization’s work. Board members serve three-year terms, with the option to stay on the board for four terms total. Board members are expected to attend all board meetings and actively serve on two board committees. There is no required board donation amount, but AKPIRG should ideally be one of your top three non-profit contributions. We have quarterly board and committee meetings.

AKPIRG is accepting applications on a rolling basis through the end of the year. AKPIRG's Development Committee will read all applications and have follow-up calls with applicants in December with the goal of onboarding our next cohort of 2–3 new board members in January.
