Healthcare: ACA Repeal - Impact on Alaskans

"62,000 fewer people in Alaska would have health insurance in 2019 if the Aordable Care Act (ACA) is repealed, new Urban Institute estimates show. Republican policymakers plan to move quickly in January to repeal much of the health reform law without enacting a replacement."

 

Education Statistics in Alaska

"Although Alaska’s personal income is still higher than the nation overall, inflation-adjusted income has dropped for all education levels since then. Declines began earlier for men with lower levels of education, and women’s incomes have declined across the board more recently."
