Mary A. Guilas‑Hawver brings over 39 years of experience as a Behavioral Health professional. She holds a Master of Social Work and maintains both national and state certifications in Addiction Counseling. Mary has an extensive background in nonprofit administration, community organizing, and founding civic organizations across Kodiak and other Alaska communities.

Her leadership includes service on numerous boards and active involvement in community education on topics such as social justice, addiction, mental health, human rights, and other key issues affecting diverse populations. Mary’s deep community roots and professional expertise make her an exceptional leader for the Kodiak GOTV initiative.
