Reilly Loynd
(she/her)
LEGAL INTERN
Reilly, a Vermont native and Bard College Human Rights graduate (2020), began her career tutoring in prison education programs. After working in criminal justice reform in New Orleans—supporting legislative advocacy and helping overturn unconstitutional convictions—she coordinated Boston's Emerson Prison Initiative. Witnessing predatory for-profit colleges targeting vulnerable populations prompted her pivot to consumer protection at the Project on Predatory Student Lending. There, she exposed unlawful debt collection practices against defrauded borrowers and organized congressional briefings. Now at Penn Carey Law, Reilly focuses on economic justice through advocating for fraudulent debt discharge, combining her criminal justice background with consumer financial protection expertise.
