Steve Koteff

Stephen Koteff is an attorney who has spent his entire professional career working in the public interest. Most recently, Steve was the legal director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Alaska, where he successfully litigated cases involving voting rights, free speech, and equal protection. Steve previously served as lead counsel for Alaska’s Human Rights Commission, where he represented discrimination victims and helped guide the agency’s enforcement policies. Steve has also worked as a public interest environmental attorney and was lead counsel in a major citizen’s suit resulting in a multi-million dollar settlement that established Alaska’s Cook Inletkeeper. Steve loves to hike, ski, and be outside in Alaska. He lives in Anchorage with his family.
