ECONOMIC JUSTICE POLICY SPECIALIST

Tamika Harris grew up in Augusta, Georgia on Mvskoke (Muscogee) lands. She moved to Anchorage in 2024 and joined AKPIRG’s Economic Justice Team in 2025, currently living and working on Dena’ina lands. She graduated with her master of public health in August of 2023 and brings a Health in All Policies perspective to her work. With a mix of direct service and macro practice, Tamika is excited to share her dynamic experience with the organization. She looks forward to being a part of the team’s work to promote abundant housing policies.

Outside of work, you can find Tamika appreciating beautiful landscapes, exploring Southcentral Alaska, and sharing random facts with her friends and family.
